Coaching vs. Counseling
Coaching helps individuals achieve personal and professional goals, while counseling addresses emotional and psychological challenges with therapeutic solutions and diagnosis.
Michelle is committed to decreasing the barriers to therapy by offering tele-health services. With online therapy, you don’t have to worry about rushing in traffic to get to your appointment or struggling to make time for a session. Connecting online allows you to choose the most convenient time for you from the comfort of your home. While online therapy can seem intimidating to some, Michelle creates an environment that strongly parallels an in-person setting. Michelle uses secure, HIPAA compliant software that makes online sessions very easy to access. Use the Client Registration Link below to begin the process of scheduling your appointment.
If you’re struggling due to decisions and actions in your life and want to make a change, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can help. Michelle offers mindfulness-integrated CBT, which allows clients to explore their beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to alleviate unwanted outcomes and side effects. She works collaboratively with you to evaluate the short- and long-term effects of your behaviors and to make the necessary changes to help you achieve the life you desire.
Michelle offers coaching for children, parents, and adults, focusing on behavioral modification, parenting skills, and personal development. She supports the creation and advocacy of Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) to ensure children’s educational needs are met. For caregivers, she provides guidance in managing the demands of caregiving, career, and family responsibilities. Additionally, Michelle helps individuals navigate processes and strategies to achieve their personal and professional goals.
Group therapy offers a supportive space where individuals can share their experiences and learn from each other under the guidance of a therapist. Sessions usually involve 3 to 12 participants and last about 60 minutes each week. The format is tailored to the group’s goals and the therapist’s approach.
