CLIENT CENTERED

In client-centered therapy, you are the focal point of the process. As your guide, Michelle will work alongside you to explore your goals, challenges, and aspirations. This approach emphasizes your autonomy, ensuring that our work is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. You will collaborate closely to develop strategies that resonate with you, fostering a supportive environment where your voice and choices drive the therapeutic journey. Together, to create a path that aligns with your personal values and goals.

TRAUMA FOCUSED

Trauma-focused therapy explores how past traumas and adverse events contribute to negative self-beliefs, persistent maladaptive behaviors, and ongoing emotional suffering. By addressing these deep-seated issues, therapy aims to help individuals heal, develop healthier coping strategies, and improve their overall well-being.

DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS 

Counseling for developmental disorders includes behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and adaptive therapy. It also addresses sensory processing issues to support skill development and emotional well-being.

MINDFULNESS & COMPASSION

Emphasis on the "now" and what you are experiencing in the present moment, while operating through a compassionate and nonjudgmental lens.

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY (CBT)  

Picture CBT as a mental toolkit designed to help you clear away the clutter of negative or distorted thoughts. It’s like using a map to better understand and navigate challenging situations, allowing you to see things more clearly and respond more effectively. CBT helps you reshape your thinking patterns, making it easier to tackle problems and enhance your emotional well-being.


Mental Health Wellness Coaching

As a coach, Michelle works with the whole person. She listens to your concerns and ask powerful questions to help motivate you to make the changes you desire. She partnership with you to identify obstacles and create strategies for moving toward your goal.
